Time Flies.......

Wow....is all I can say. It seems as though the clock is on super-duper speed when it comes to life after high school! Although I love my life now, I kinda miss the days where all I had to worry about was do well in school and finish my chores at home! lol

But on the flip side, I love being where I am today and (luckily) with no kids. I am completely focused on my career and advancing to the top as far as my mind will let me think. I do want kids, but when I get married. And the reason I'm not is because in today's society, people dont value what it means to be married. To me, its not something you do and change when it gets dirty. I have a neice that is coming into the world soon and I'm excited. Her name is Gianna (pronounced jee-ah-nuh). My little brother got married in August of '06. I was very excited for him and I hope that his marriage lasts for as long as their hearts beat. He has definitely grown into a lovely young man.

As for me, I'm working and writing. I want to open up something here in Rochester for the inner city youth. I believe that they are our future but are being led in the wrong direction and they need the "tracks" to be modified to go straight, and get the rocks and sticks off their pathway so its clear for them to succeed. I have some friends who I am working with and if this doesnt happen I definitely want to mentor some kids as well.

Other than that, I'm trying to live my life as best I can. I have become a very spiritual person and didnt realize the kind of love that comes from God is unconditional. With Him on my side, there is NOTHING I cant do.

My VERY BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD....RL. She knows who she is. She went to Gates too. The only person that I could trust and confide in. We've been friends since we were 15-years old. And we're almost 30 today! lol

I love her to death....will do anything for her. If you're reading this...you are the sister I've always wanted but never had. I love you girl!
