Website, Reunions, Yearbooks, & Homecoming
First I need to say that I know the temporary password has confused many of you. It is necessary to keep spammers and abusers off of the website. If, for some reason, you have not been able to login to use the website, please use the Contact link at the top of any website page, to let me know. I can reset your password for you (if you send me a password that you prefer to use), so that you can access the site.
For those of you who would like to start submitting your own posts, stories, etc.; you can use the 'Create My Content' links (upper left-side menus). Each submission will be reviewed prior to page placement. I know that each one of you has a GCHS memory that others would like to read about. Please, share them with us.
We have several reunion events coming up this summer. The Class of '61 event is just a month away. The classes of '66 and '76 are also having reunions. Sadly, the coordinators still have not been able to find all their missing classmates. If you know of any classmates that graduated during those years, please use the Contact link to let me know. Any information, such as married names of female classmates, would also help.
A Big Thanks to Lee Emrich (GCHS class of '65) for the loan of his yearbook! I have digitized it, but there are several pictures that have been written on. If you have a 1965 yearbook and the ability to scan the pages or pictures, please contact me, so that I can complete this project. I am driving to NY (from AZ) this coming week. If you are in the Finger Lakes or Rochester area, I can do the scanning for you.
If anyone would be interested in helping coordinate a special event for Homecoming weekend (in the Fall), please let me know. Several of the website members have conveyed an interest in doing something special for Homecoming. I am very busy with my rare cancer organization, the GCHS website, and the '66 class reunion; so I cannot get overly involved. But, I am hoping that some of you will 'step up to the plate' for this project.
Keep in mind, that the website is for all of you. I hope that you participate by submitting your own posts, memories, or events. If there is anything that you would like to see on the website, let me know. If you are having any problems using the site, I am sure I can help you.
